Movement

& Meditation

Linda’s moving meditation journey began when she started learning Tai chi at age 13, which she continues to practice to this day. She is a senior student at Tai Chi Forever in Chinatown, Manhattan, and finds joy and profound insight in the repetition of the forms.

She was first introduced to meditation and Buddhism during college while volunteering at a Dharma summer camp, and her life has never been the same since. She recognizes the magic in the mundane, she has a clear heart for service, and she aspires to live with metta towards all beings.

Linda’s participation in the Luminous Heart Institute yoga teacher training was the beginning of her budding yoga teaching journey. Her experiences there helped shape her spiritually and deeply influence her teaching style. Linda is now an Assistant Teacher at Luminous Heart Institute (RYT 500) and leads workshops on Ayurveda and lifestyle, Tai Chi, and Qi Gong.

She has been blessed with humble and generous teachers throughout her journey, and she gratefully shares their wisdom. Her yoga classes and wellness consultations draw inspiration from nature and narratives, encouraging clear communication and self-compassion. Linda loves to explore sacred geometry, pranayama, and life cycles.

Work & Education

Linda is a proud Tufts University double Jumbo, receiving her Bachelor of Arts in International Relations Global Health and Master of Science in Food Policy and Applied Nutrition. She completed her Dietetic Internship at Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine.

Linda has created and taught educational curricula for kids and teens at community programs, public schools, summer programs, and yoga studios. Practices focus on cultivating lifelong skills to enhance focus, improve posture, and cope with stress through exploration of movement, breathing exercises, and skillful communication. Linda had the pleasure of developing a series of imaginative and self empowering lesson plans that weave together nature, nutrition, and the human body to help kids establish a strong physical foundation, balance energy levels, and promote positive decision making.

She was previously the Clinical Dietitian at UCLA’s Center for Obesity and Metabolic Health and pediatric Fit Clinic. In addition, Linda was the Community Dietitian practicing in South Central Los Angeles with a focus on nutrition interventions, prenatal care, and childhood obesity. In New Orleans, Linda worked with cardiac and critical care patients providing in-patient clinical care.

Linda has worked with several non-profit organizations in New York and Boston developing nutrition education curricula. She especially enjoys teaching children and families the wonders of fresh fruits and vegetables. She has led countless healthy cooking classes with volunteer organizations such as Cooking Matters, City Harvest, Jumbo's Kitchen, Second Harvest, Edible Schoolyard, Quincy Garden Project, Active Citizens of Tufts Alumni, and Peer Health Exchange.
